Lewis Electrical is registered with the NICEIC’s competent person’s scheme. This allows us to inform the local authority of any notifiable works we have carried out to an electrical installation and issue a building control notification on completion of the works, ensuring the electrical installation is fully certificated and compliant with the relevant building regulations.
If your property is older and the electrical wiring is of an age where re-wireable fuses are still in use, or you have older type of light switches and sockets, then this could be an indication your electrical installation may need a replacement consumer unit. Rewiring your property and replacing the consumer unit will bring the electrical installation up to a safe compliant standard and increase the value of your property.
If you are looking to have a mains interlinked smoke alarm system installed, maintained, or replaced, we can advise on the best system for your property. Our team are experienced in carrying out these works, ensuring your property is adequately covered. We can also incorporate heat detectors and carbon monoxide detectors into the system too. The system can also be monitored remotely if required.
